Jammin Night

So this week my friends and I all got together to make Jam! It was my first time making Jam but I had Leslie and Ashley there to help in any way possible. It was so much fun and may I say very delicious!! Ashley and I decided to make

(if you cant tell this is not peach, its nectarine) Joe and Leslie are amazing and made a Raspberry Peach Jam earlier that is amazing! My next kind is Choke Cherry

My granparents aparently have a lot of Choke Cherry bushes, or trees (still not sure :)) and my Grandpa loves that kind of jam so if your up for trying this one with me and maybe have a good recipe(if its different than usual jam)give me a call.Nick was our photographer, Suz, Paige and Bella and Stella were there for moral support. Goodbye's

It seems that we are having to say goodbye to everyone right now. Rob's parents have been called to serve a mission in North Carolina and are leaving on September 15. They will be gone for 1 year and although we are so happy for them we are going to miss them!. We had a family dinner to celebrate and say goodbye. Richard made some yummy pulled pork sandwiches and everyone came over to our house for dinner(minus Kath and Ty)last weekend. Here are a few pictures






Then..... My little Brothers are both in College!!! Daniel actually started last year and went to a school in Maui and decided to move here this year! I am so excited to have him back in Utah and close by! And now Jordy... He is moving to Oregon and will be attending Walammet University. I know, I know he has lived in Maui for the last 7 years but I am so sad he is moving away-- yes, yes he will be closer but it just feels different. Anyway My family came into town before Jordan went off to school and here was out "goodbye" dinner for Jordan.

SWOSS BBQ

This last weekend I was able to get together with some of my best friends! I have known these girls since we were little and we were best friends all through high school and are still close. Karrie, Krissy, Mandy and Missy were able to come visit from out of state and gave us a great reason to have a BBQ! I look up to these girls so much and learn so much from them. Some of them have gone through some of the hardest things that anyone can imagine and they are still so strong and amazing! I always have felt so lucky to have them as friends! We spent the night eating and reminiscing on old times-- I will admit I was embarassed a time or two... there were old home videos present... I'll just say a video of a high school girls trip to Deer Valley and a Britney Spears CD.... no need to say anymore :)

Summertime in the Mountains!

YES!!! Another slide show! My family went up to the canyons and had dinner last weekend. It was a lot of fun. I love summertime when we can go out and do fun things in the mountains like this. Most of my family was not here yet, so it was my sister and her family and my mom and of coarse Rob and I. Rob never likes to get his picture taken and my mom LOVES to take them so there are a few funny ones of us in here and then cute little Bella!

San Diego!!

This last weekend I got to so to San Diego with some of my favorite people in the world! My friend Suzie is a "jetter" yes, that is Jet Blue lingo for employee and she was able to get us all tickets to San Deigo. We were supposed to go to Puerto Rico but because of a tropical storm we were re routed to San Diego and it did not dissapoint:) It was a much needed Girls Trip where we had so much fun!We stayed in La Jolla and was just there for an extended weekend but it was so nice and relaxing. here are a few pics from our trip. We decided then that this will be an annual trip! Can't wait for next year!

Happy Birthday to ROB!!!

Yesterday was Rob's Birthday!! I am sad to say he was being extreemly stubborn so I didn't get any good pictures but we still had a great weekend. THe pictures I do have on here are from Rob's sister. He wouldn't smile for any of mine! On Friday we went out to dinner with some friends for his birthday and on Saturday we went up in the canyons and had a BBQ with his family. It is Rob's mom's Birthday on the 1st, Rob's on the 3rd and his brothers on the 7th so we celebrated everyones on Saturday.I am so grateful for Rob and so happy that I am married to him even if he is extreemly stubborn!
